www.essentialdayspa.com: The Best Online Forum for Beauty Product Tips, Advice and Reviews

If you’ve ever purchased a skin care product for smoothing out dry skin and wrinkles or simply hunted for the perfect sunscreen protection, then you know that purchasing any skin care product for the first time can be frustrating and sometimes a waste of money. Reading an advertisement about a product whether online or anywhere else usually represents the interest of the company ‘selling’ the product and therefore is a biased and a partial way to make a decision.

I found the best solution in researching a product is reading customer reviews and my most favorite for skincare products is an online forum with an immensely huge international community that is passionate about anything revolving around beauty care. So if you’re looking at a product sold solely in a particular country chances are you’ll find it there. The forum has a breakdown of topics ranging from skincare and makeup advice, product reviews where cosmetic surgery procedures are also discussed, and interestingly a section covering ‘DIY’ on creative skincare adventures. The online company name is Essential Day Spa and they started in 1983 selling skincare cosmetics but also host this forum site that goes volumes beyond their interests as merchants: www.essentialdayspa.com

Once you log onto the site you can simply view conversations between members within the forum, but then you’ll need to register in order to participate and this is helpful if you have a question on a product that you don’t see discussed. I found the skincare product that I’m happily using today after reading about a woman who gave a wealth of information like a diary of sorts after first trying it, also others chimed in with their experiences as well. I was convinced to try the product when said her age was 54 and posted a few before and after snapshots of herself without makeup looking 20 years younger! Also it is shunned if someone seems to have ulterior motives in advertising a product in the forum, as ‘the regulars’ don’t hesitate in making detrimental comments to that effect.
