Tips on Carrying out Academic Researches Online

The internet is full of various sources of information and resources that can be used for academic work and researches. There is virtually nothing that cannot be found on the web; all these aid the research process. There are numerous books, millions of journals, articles, videos, audio books and many more that a student or researcher can access. Many people think the internet is just for fun and that is all to it but someone reading this will know that there is more to the worldwide web than games and social networking. Moving on to tips on where and how to get academic resources; Google books is a good source of information. Be aware that this is different from google.com. I recently saw a Hovis farmer ad on the internet and I was impressed but not all adverts can be tolerated when one is carrying out a serious research.
You may come across some adverts while using Google but that does not in any way limit the information available therein. Google news is also a good resource for those in the media field because most of the results from searches are information posted by sound sources. Most of the good academic materials are however not free which means access is limited without the payment of a certain amount of money. A researcher may register and pay a little amount of money to gain access to the materials available while students of universities may not have to pay because their school library have subscriptions to most of these academic sources online. In some top schools, a student may even request for what the library does not have access to. On a final note, remember to reference all online sources to avoid serious penalties.
